Parachute Shelter

- Natural Disasters
Natural disasters in the world  have being increasing gradually. earthquake in Japan and
Haiti, Katrina Hurricane  in USA, tsunami disasters in Southeast Asia are examples of
world disasters. Disasters cause a lot of deaths and victims, it is not only hard to salvage
people at that situation but also hard to supply aids to them because of the crashed roads and traffic systems.

- Air Supply Using Parachute

That is why, governments and relief organizations use parachute to supply humanitarian aid. In the aid box, there are foods, clothes and emergency medical supplies. The disaster survivors face  the second risk of destroyed residences. Victims are in dangerous situation because of shocks from sudden disasters and physical stress caused by rain, wind, dust, epidemy and so on.

- Shelters
Why there is no shelter? Survivors need place to rest and to be protected from second risk. Also they need supplies. We took this in consideration for our design.  After a parachute is landed it becomes useless. By using this useless thing, we can make a shelter for rest and protection.
